KIT (Kids Included Together) is a nonprofit organization founded in 1997 in San Diego, California. We believe every child has the right to meaningful participation in their community, regardless of their abilities or challenges.

For over 25 years, we've been helping organizations create inclusive environments where all children can learn, play, and grow together.

KIT History

Foundation

KIT was founded in San Diego, California, with the mission to help children with disabilities participate in community programs.

1997

Expansion

The organization began offering trainings and consultations for educators and professionals throughout California.

2005

National Reach

KIT expanded to all 50 U.S. states, training over 100,000 professionals.

2015

KIT Academy

Launch of online platform with over 90 hours of inclusion training and child support courses.

2020
